The ISAA Mission Statement
The Icelandic Sheepdog Association of America (I.S.A.A.) is organized for the expressed
purpose of promoting and preserving the welfare of the Icelandic Sheepdog in America. Towards
this end, the ISAA is dedicated to serving the best interest of the Icelandic Sheepdog through
increasing public awareness, establishing a resource network, and promoting proper husbandry
and breeding practices of the Icelandic Sheepdog in America.
The ISAA is a non-profit organization established to provide its members with three primary
services. They are:
1) Resources - Providing members and the greater public with the information, services, and
support necessary to perpetuate the awareness and care of the Icelandic Sheepdog in the United
States of America.
2) Tracking - A central position for registering and monitoring the breeding activities and
placement of purebred Icelandic Sheepdogs in the United States.
3) Networking - Providing members with a detailed chronicle of Icelandic Sheepdog breeders,
owners, and enthusiasts in the United States.
