The breeders/stud owners who are listed in the Approved Breeder/Stud Owner listings are members in good standing of the Icelandic
Sheepdog of America (ISAA). They have signed and pledged to uphold the ISAA's breeder/stud owner agreement, and who requested
to be listed herein, although the ISAA has no ability to supervise and no or limited ability to investigate to verify that the agreement is
upheld. The ISAA and its officers and directors make no endorsement of any person on the listings. Under no circumstances does the
ISAA recommend or guarantee the dogs of any listed breeder or stud owner, nor does the ISAA assume any responsibility or liability
for the health, quality, or temperament of any dog, nor for other representations, either expressed or implied, made by any ISAA
member who is listed in the Approved Breeder/Stud Owner listings. It is further understood that any contract entered into by a buyer
and any of the breeders or a breeder and any of the stud owners on the lists is between the two parties, as individuals, and the ISAA is
not a party thereto nor responsible for the terms contained in any said contract.  The ISAA would like to advise you to check with the
breeder/stud owner to make certain all requirements are current and valid before entering into a contract.

All of the breeders listed on the breeder and stud pages meet the guidelines set forth by the ISAA BRCC and are supported by the club.
We encourage you to purchase a puppy from one of the breeders listed on this page or using studs from our stud page.
We cannot insure that any health tests are completed by breeders who are not approved by the ISAA.

The ISAA BRCC congratulates those breeders who have the courage, honesty and foresight to openly
register their dogs with the Canine Health Information Center (CHIC).  CHIC breeders are listed first, by order of date
of enrollment and will be indicated by the CHIC symbol.

If you click on "pedigree without links" you will see health information regarding hip and eye tests.

Health screening information is verified and updated as it is received from owners. Owners are reminded that CERF certifications are
for 12 months only and that all dogs need a valid CERF when they are bred. This means that they must have had a CERF certification  
within the  12 months prior to breeding. All CERF certifications must be submitted to CERF for inclusion in their website database.
