The ISAA is grateful to our many volunteers. We honored four of those individuals this year. Each individual honored will
be presented with (or mailed) a plaque that is inscribed with the art of Elisabet Stacey-Hurley and reads:

                                               Icelandic Sheepdog Association of America
                                                                     Volunteer 2008
                                                             With Great Appreciation

The recipients are:

Laurie Ball-Gisch. Among the larger projects Laurie has completed for the club are our 2007 annual report, the
compilation of ISD stories from members about the breed for the website, and the creation of a flyer about the ISD to be
used at judges education seminars, breed booths or other related activities.

JL Costa. JL spent many hours creating a beautiful photo album that was carried to Sigríður Pétursdóttir in July of this
year. It is a gift from the club that expresses our gratitude for her willingness to save the breed. Many members contributed
notes and photographs and the album was simply beautiful.

Knox Rhine. Among other things, Knox has worked tirelessly to create the Health and Genetics Website He has entered and/or maintains over 8,000 pedigrees and made information available. The ISAA
pedigree generator is the largest public database in the ISD International Community and is widely praised.

Maggy Pease. Maggy works an average of 30 to 40 hours per week on the ISAA website. Her tireless contribution and
commitment is apparent to anyone who visits the website. The website is our key tool for communication with membership
and those researching the breed in the U.S. The website receives great praise from the International community and the
membership of ISAA.

There are many more who we are grateful to. In an all-volunteer organization, we are dependant on the generous hearts of
those who step forward to share talents and time. We are truly grateful. Please join us in congratulating these wonderful
