| The Board of Directors and Membership of the Icelandic Sheepdog Association of America (ISAA) welcomes you to our website. Please be sure to visit our page entitled “About ISAA” where you will find information regarding the composition of our club including our Board of Directors, Committees, Constitution,Membership, Ethics Statement and most importantly, ISAA News. The ISAA is the AKC Parent Club for the Icelandic Sheepdog in the United States. As of July 1, 2008, the ISAA is in the AKC Misc. Class and we are moving towards full AKC acceptance. We presently meet all of the requirements for full acceptance and have been invited to apply by the AKC as of July 1, 2009. We continue to grow as a club. Member participation in AKC events is strong and we look forward to participating as full AKC partners in the near future. Our AKC studbook includes 620 three generation Icelandic Sheepdogs.
