2025 Eddy Award winners

Hello all- 

It is my honor to share that the Icelandic Sheepdog Association of America has been selected as a recipient of the 2025 Eddy Award from the American Kennel Club.

The Eddy Award recognizes the outstanding breeder education programs and materials developed by parent clubs to educate current and future breeders of the breed.

Each Club receiving the Eddy Award will receive the following: 

  • Acknowledgement and presentation of certificate at the December Delegates Meeting.

  • A digital badge to put on the club’s web site.

  • Posting on AKC Breeder Education page.

This is a testament to our AMAZING committee members, volunteers, members and breeders who pour their heart and soul into our club and breed. YOU are the recipients of this award and recognition. We couldn't do it without you!
